Becoming certified helps organizations understand the knowledge level of individuals. Certification may be required by employment.
Who is certified?
DAS certifies individuals.
In most cases if an individual changes employment after they are certified, their certificate remains valid.
Lost a certificate?
Certificates are emailed to the participants email address listed on their DAS Training Portal account.
Individuals can access a copy of their certificate after they login to their DAS Training Portal account and click the My Certificates page.
Certificates can only be sent to the individual certified and the DAS Training team cannot re-issue a certificate to a company or third party.
No.
Accounts on the DAS Training Portal are the property of the individual and therefor to protect the users privacy must be created by whom intents to use the account.
Can my employer access my DAS Training Portal account information?
No.
To protect users privacy, account information is only accessible by the individual and the DAS team.
Make sure you are logged into your DAS Training Portal account, click here to register if you don’t already have an account.
From the homepage, select the vendor training you require and scroll to the DAS Training section.
After expanding the training course you are interested in, click the ‘Register’ button next to a suitable session from either your local branch or a webinar session if available.
eg.
Why are there no training dates available for the course I would like to register to?
Either due to a trainer’s schedule or low demand on a course, there will be times we do not have a schedule available.
For any training course that has no training dates, we request that users register to the available waitlist.
When a training date becomes available, users registered on a waitlist have priority of attending.
Waitlists also allow our trainers to prioritise certain training courses based on demand.
Can I register someone else to a training course on their behalf?
No.
We require participants to make commitment to our training course by using their user account to register.

What payment methods are available?
Payment can be made the following ways
Can my employer pay for my training course?
Yes.
A member of the DAS Training team will contact the registered users to make payment.
If your employer or third party is paying for you, it is your responsibility to forward the payment request to them.
Alternatively, employers or third parties can make contact to the DAS Training team via email to proactively make payment.
Can I make bulk payments for more than one training payment?
Yes.
Bulk payments can be arranged, please contact the DAS Training team via email to have this organised. .
If payment has not been collected, will be training registration be cancelled?
Yes.
If we have not received payment by the registered user or a third party within 5 business days prior to the start of your training, your registration may be cancelled. .

Training kits are typically purchased with your training session, however an option to loan a kit can be discussed with the DAS Training team.
Can I share a training kit with another participant?
No.
Practical exercises and assessments are conducted using one training kit per person.
Why should I buy a training kit?
Training kits included with your training are purchased at a discounted rate and come with all the benefits of buying retail, including warranty periods.
Either your getting discounted hardware, or a discounted certificate.
Once your training is complete, you can either leave the kit as a training resource, or repurpose the hardware and resell it.
What are the conditions of loaning a training kit?
A loaned training kit has the following conditions

Training Courses
How do I register to a training course?Make sure you are logged into your DAS Training Portal account, click here to register if you don’t already have an account.

- Credit Card over the phone
- Debit or Credit Card in branch

What are the conditions of loaning a training kit?
A loaned training kit has the following conditions
- Pickup from a DAS branch
- Returned at a DAS branch within 5 business days after the competition of the training session
- Any damage occurred while the training kit is in your possession will incur a charge to replace the necessary parts
- If the kit has not been returned, or the DAS Training team has not been advised of any delays within the 5 business days, an invoice will be sent to the registered users account.
